Fibretech Lite Decks are laid up using 7 layers of top tier Canadian Rock Maple, we then shave each ply by 10% and laminate a carbon-fibre sheet to the standing platform. This composite sheet isn’t some magical tech/voodoo, it’s a material renowned for stiffness, and unlike wood it remains stiff for years, in-part thanks to it’s impressive compression resistance – all of this results in giving your deck a life beyond it’s wood. When it comes to tension, you’ll be pressed to find anything stronger than carbon-fibre, and it’s tension that causes your tail/nose to snap off.
